During a Meet-n-Move Day, refugee children aged between 8 and 10, will enjoy a day of sports and games, together with Dutch children of the same age. Teambuilding and having fun together in this 'neutral' setting will help them to get to know each other.
Compared with their classmates, these "new" Dutch children might not be doing as well at school and have to catch up. This is either because they have missed several years of education or because their level of Dutch is not yet sufficient. However, in the area of sports and games, all children are the same and there are no obvious differences.
During a Meet-n-Move day, "New" Dutch children have an opportunity to enjoy a sports day together with Dutch children and held during the school holidays.
Throughout a Meet-n-Move day, the children will be guided by (top) sports players and other (top) sports players. The activities will focus on working together and team building. In this way, we hope to bring across the strong message that "Together we can do more".
Additionally, refugee children will gain some first-hand experience of sports clubs in Netherlands, which are mostly run by volunteers. Being a member of a sports club can help enormously with the integration of children and their parents.

- سوف يقضي أطفال اللاجئين التي تتراوح أعمارهم ( بين 8 و 10 سنة ) وقتا ممتعا في نشاطات رياضية بالإضافة إلى الألعاب مع الأطفال الهولنديين من نفس أعمارهم .

- يمكنك أن تجد فروقات في المستوى التعليمي داخل المدرسة بين الأطفال الهولندي ( الجدد ) وبين زملائهم في المدرسة وذلك بسبب إما تغيبهم عدة سنوات عن التعليم أو بسبب مستواهم في اللغة الهولندية ليس كافيا بعد ، ولكن في مجال الرياضة والألعاب جميع الأطفال هي نفسها وليس هناك إختلافات واضحة .
- خلال يوم Meet-n-Move الأطفال الهولنديين الجدد سوف يكون لديهم الفرصة للاستمتاع بيوم رياضي مع الأطفال الهولنديين ومن المقرر أن يقام هذا الحدث ثلاث مرات سنويا ، خلال العطل المدرسية .
- النشاط الأول سوف يقام في مدينة فسينار ولكن نخطط في المستقبل لتنظيم أيام Meet-n-Move في نوادي وأماكن أخرى .
- خلال يوم Meet-n-Move سيعمل لاعبي الهوكي المحترفين في نادي وبعض اللاعبين الآخرين على إرشاد الأطفال في القيام معا لبناء فريق ومن خلال هذه الطريقة نأمل في ارسال رسالة قوية (( معا ، يمكننا أن نفعل أكثر ))
